This policy explains how KanaKeyboard handles information across its free tools and digital-product checkout.
Text entered into tools
Text entered into the keyboard, name, number, address, Hanko, practice, or game tools is processed on your device. KanaKeyboard does not intentionally transmit or permanently store that text. Downloaded Hanko images are generated in your browser.
Local preferences
The site may use localStorage to remember non-sensitive settings such as input mode, practice level, or practice type. These values stay in your browser and can be removed through browser storage controls.
Analytics and cookies
KanaKeyboard uses Google Analytics through Cloudflare Zaraz to understand page visits, referrers, approximate location, device and browser characteristics, and interaction trends. These systems may use identifiers or cookies where permitted. Text entered into KanaKeyboard tools is not intentionally included in analytics events. You can use browser privacy controls to limit or remove cookies.
Purchases and payments
Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for paid digital products. Paddle collects and processes the details needed for checkout, tax calculation, payment, fraud prevention, receipts, and refunds. KanaKeyboard does not receive your complete payment-card number. Paddle's own privacy notice applies to information it processes.
Product reviews
If you submit a product review, the rating, display name, title, review text, and optional purchase email are sent through your email application for moderation. KanaKeyboard uses this information to check authenticity, prevent abuse, contact you about the submission when necessary, and decide whether to publish it. Purchase email addresses are not displayed publicly, and submitting a review does not guarantee publication.
Support messages
If you contact KanaKeyboard, the message, email address, and any order details you voluntarily provide are used to answer the request, resolve delivery or refund issues, and maintain appropriate transaction records. Do not send passwords or full card details.
Hosting logs
The hosting provider may process ordinary technical request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps for security and service operation. KanaKeyboard does not combine this with the contents typed into the tools.
External services and links
Hosting, analytics, payment, and linked external websites process information under their own privacy terms. Their practices apply when you use those services or follow those links.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected by a meaningful policy update date. The date is not changed automatically during every site build.
