How to create a Hanko-style image

- Review the full Katakana spelling and select one to four seal characters.

Why the seal may use part of a long name
Long Katakana names do not fit clearly inside a compact seal. The generator displays the full conversion, then places up to four editable characters on the stamp. You can replace them with a shorter preferred form before downloading.
Hanko, inkan, and seal impressions
Japanese seals have several roles. Everyday approval seals, bank seals, and seals registered for formal transactions are not interchangeable. A genuine seal’s use depends on the physical seal, the owner, and—in registered contexts—official or institutional procedures.

Is the generated Hanko legally valid?
No. It is a decorative digital image, not a physical seal registered with a government office or accepted by a bank.
